Simultaneous Equations-Real Numbers
This math review page deals with systems of simultaneous equations which contain real numbers.
Its operation is simple. Press "New Problem" and two equations will
appear in the top frame. Determine the value of X and Y which solve both and enter them in the cells. Press
"Check Answer" and the results will appear in the second table.
Hints
- Be careful about the signs of the answers.
- The answers must be entered as decimal numbers and should be entered with at least three
significant figures.
- use the TAB key to move between cells.
