Solving High Order Equations by Approximations
This is the math review page for successive approximations. When you press
"New Problem", an expression will appear in the top frame. Use the method of successive
approximations to solve for X and enter it in the cell. Press "Check Answer" and the
results will appear in the second table. Remember that under the guidelines of
this exercise, none of the terms in the expression can be zero or negative and X
is also a positive number.Your answer will be accepted if it is within 25% of the correct value.
